REFLECTION ON GOD'S RESTORING LOVE

REFLECTION ON GOD'S RESTORING LOVE

Luke 15:18-20

The Possibility of a Restored Relationship:

• The truth is, we are all the prodigal son

• None of us is worthy of the love that God grants us

• Our journey of restoration reminds us of the story of the prodigal son

The REQUEST of the Prodigal Son:

Luke 15:11-12

• A selfish request

• An impulsive request

• A foolish request

• A grievous request

Luke 15:13-14

The REALIZATION of the Prodigal Son:

Luke 15:17

• Sin is a form of temporary spiritual insanity.

Turning away from God is insanity because you are turning away from that which is good to that which is bad.

The REPENTANCE of the Prodigal Son:

Luke 15:18-19

• Repentance is a change of mind that leads to a change life. It means to change the direction of your life.

Luke 15:21

• Real repentance doesn't make deals with God.

The RESOLUTION of the Prodigal Son:

Luke 15:20

• The hardest step Is the first step. And that's the one that brings you halfway home.

The RESTORATION

Luke 15:20

Luke 15:22-24

• The KISS, the sign of FORGIVENESS

• The ROBE, the sign of HONOR

• The RING, the sign of AUTHORITY

• The SANDALS, the sign of FREEDOM

• The FEAST, the sign of A JOYFUL WELCOME

God's love is powerful, never ceases, never change and allows us to face each day with confidence, knowing that all good things are the graces. He has given, and we can rely on his power to face all challenges. Throughout our lives, it is clear that God's love for us is the most important.
